VakıfBank, the only champion of the Turkish League since 2018, hosted Bolu Belediyespor. The yellow-blacks got the 9th consecutive league victory by beating their opponent 3-0 and increased the league wins to 13.

Starting the first set of the game at Vakıfbank Spor Sarayı with an 11-1 run, the yellow-blacks maintained their lead until the end of the set and won the set with a score of 25-10. Having scored 8 points in the second set by Kara Bajema, VakıfBank got the second set 25-17 and managed to win the match 3-0 by taking the last set with the same score.

In VakıfBank, Aleksia Karutasu and Kara Bajema were the top scorers of the game with 15 points each; Bahar Akbay scored 14 points. Buket Gülübay also scored 5 points in the match, in which Derya Cebecioğlu contributed 7 and Kübra Akman 6 points.

In the next match, VakıfBank will host Potsdam in the CEV Champions League. The last European Champion, will face the German side on Thursday, January 19 in the Pool C game.
