Continuing the transfers for the 2022 - 2023 season, VakıfBank signed a contract with the American star Kara Bajema.
Turkey, Europe and World Champion VakıfBank announced that they have agreed with Kara Bajema, who recently played for the Polish team Developres Rzeszow. The 22-year-old Spiker plays currently for USA National Team.
Who is Kara Bajema?
Born on March 24, 1998 in Bellingham, Washington State, USA, Kara Bajema met volleyball in high school. Bajema, who also played basketball before stepping into her professional career, started her volleyball career as a middle player at Washington University. Bajema later moved to spiker position. She left her country in 2020 and transferred to the Italian side Pomi Casalmaggiore. After playing in Italy for one season, Bajema spent the past season with the Polish team Developres Rzeszow.
The 188 cm tall player won the Polish Super Cup, Polish Cup and Polish League in Poland last season. She was also awarded as the Polish Cup Most Valuable Player.
