The defending champion VakıfBank hosted İlbank in the 16th week of the Turkish League. The yellow-blacks defeated İlbank 3-0 and continued the winning streak in the league.
VakıfBank, the only champion of the Turkish League since 2018, hosted İlbank at VakıfBank Spor Sarayı. In the 16th week game, the yellow-blacks won the 11th consecutive match in the league by beating İlbank 3-0.
Since VakıfBank Head Coach Giovanni Guidetti was abroad to attend the meeting to be held at the FIVB, the yellow-black team, who took the field coached by Assistant Coach Saim Pakkan, won 25-17 with Aleksia Karutasu's 8 points and Kara Bajema's 7 points in the first set of the game. Bahar Akbay scored 8 points, 3 of which were blocks, and VakıfBank got the second set 25-20. The yellow-blacks, who won the last set 25-19, left the game with a 3-0 victory.
