The yellow-blacks, who will compete in the quarter finals for the 12th time in a row in the Champions League, managed to reach the quarter-finals as the group leader in Pool C. Having won the last 13 games in the CEV Champions League, VakifBank wants to return home with an advantageous score before the rematch to be played at VakifBank Spor Sarayi on Thursday, March 4.

VakifBank Head Coach Giovanni Guidetti: ''We are very excited to play the quarter final of the CEV Champions League. We are working for that, for this kind of moment from very long time. So we are really excited. We love the pressure, we really are friend with the pressure because when you dress this shirt you know how to deal with the pressure and we are really happy to feel again this pressure because we deserve it. We are looking for that great match. Because Police is a great team with the best national player of the Poland. Most historical powerful team in the Poland. The team used to win in last decades a lot. And it will be for sure a difficult match.''

VakifBank Captain Melis Gürkaynak: ''We will play the first game away with Chemik Police. We want to get an advantageous score there and pass the tour at home. As VakıfBank, we always want to be in the Final. This match is the first important step for the Final. The aim of all of us is to pass the quarter-finals and reach the semi-finals.''
