Gabriela Braga Guimaraes was born in Belo Horizonte, Brasil on May 19, 1994 in Belo Horizonte and started to play volleyball at the age of 14. Previously interested in football, swimming and tennis, Gabi started volleyball at Pythagoras College. A year later, the professional career of the spiker, who signed the Mackenzie Sports Club, also began. Gabi, who played for 4 years in this club, was transferred to Sesc/Rio de Janeiro Club in the summer of 2012. The Brazilian spiker, who played for Sesc/Rio de Janeiro for seven seasons, spent the past season at the Minas Tennis Clube.

With 6 Brazilian Super League, 5 South American Clubs Championship, 3 Brazil Cups, 3 Brazilian Super Cup Championships, Gabi is one of the legendary names of the Brazilian National Team. She served in national categories of all age in Brazil. 24 year old player won the bronze medal at the 2014 FIVB World Championship, the gold medal at the FIVB World Grand Prix in 2013, 2014, 2016, the bronze medal at the 2015 FIVB World Grand Prix and the gold medal at South America Championship in 2013 and 2015 with Brazilian National Team.
