Chiaka Ogbogu has returned to VakıfBank. The American middle blocker had won seven championships with the club.
VakıfBank has re-signed its former player, Chiaka Ogbogu. Chiaka Ogbogu, who previously won 1 FIVB Club World Championship, 2 CEV Champions League titles, 1 Turkish Champions Cup, 1 Sultanlar Ligi title, and 2 Turkish Cups with VakıfBank — where she played during the 2021–2022 season — returns to the club for new achievements.
The American middle blocker, born on April 15, 1995, was named “Middle Blocker of the Year” in the 2025 LOVB season with Austin. Following her time in Austin, Ogbogu signed a short-term contract with Puerto Rico’s Mets de Guaynabo.
