VakıfBank started the match well with consecutive points in the first set, increasing their lead to 8 points at 13-5. The yellow and blacks won the set 25-15 in 20 minutes, taking the lead with direct scoring contributions from six players. After 1-1 in the second set, VakıfBank found a 4-0 run during Cansu Özbay's service turn and played comfortably for the rest of the set. Helena Cazaute scored 6 points in the set, which the yellow and blacks won 25-17, bringing the score to 2-0. VakıfBank also won the third and final set 25-18, leaving the match with a 3-0 victory.
