VakıfBank, Turkey's team with the most international trophies, has signed Serbian libero Aleksandra Jegdić.
VakıfBank has officially signed Serbian international libero Aleksandra Jegdić for the remainder of the season, covering both the CEV Champions League and the Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi.
Born on October 9, 1994, Jegdić began her professional career at Radnički Beograd. She has played for OK Kolubara Lazarevac, OK Železničar, ŽOK Spartak, SC Potsdam, Dresdner SC 1898 and Rapid București, and most recently competed for Columbus Fury.
At the international level, Jegdić was part of the Serbia squad that won gold at the 2022 FIVB Women’s World Championship. She Also won the German Super Cup title.
