Meryem Boz signed with VakifBank

 

Our Club signed with Meryem Boz, who played in Aydin Buyuksehir Belediyespor and the MVP of the last CEV Tokyo 2020 Olympic Qualifiers. The Turkish opposite  will play for the success of the our volleyball team next season.

 

We welcome Meryem Boz to VakifBank Family and wish our player success in VakifBank Women's Volleyball Team, which aims to win the championship in every field it competes.

 

Who is Meryem Boz?

 

Meryem Boz, who was born on February 3, 1988 in Eskişehir, started volleyball in Eskişehir DSI Bentspor Youth Academy. Boz played for Iller Bankasi, Atom Trefl Sopot, Ilbank, Fenerbahce, Halkbank, Bursa Buyuksehir Belediyespor, Nilufer Belediyespor, Seramiksan, Galatasaray and Aydin Buyuksehir Belediyespor. Boz, who won the second place in the Polish League in the 2010-2011 season with Atom Trefl, won the third place in the 2012 FIVB World Clubs Championship with Fenerbahçe and the second place in the 2012-2013 CEV Cup, and the CEV Challenge Cup championship with Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor in the 2014-2015 season. Meryem Boz also achieved the 2010 CEV European League third place, 2015 CEV European League second, 2017 European Championship third place, 2019 European Championship second place and the Olympic quota in CEV Tokyo 2020 Olympic Qualifiers with the Turkish National Women's Volleyball Team.
