In the first set of the match, VakıfBank got 9 points from Paola Egonu and 8 from Gabi and went ahead with a score of 25-21. The yellow-blacks, who got 25-23 in the contested second set, brought the game to 2-0. VakıfBank, who won the last set with the same score, managed to win the game 3-0.
